Theresa began her career at Deloitte, spending several years servicing various public and privately-held clients, in a range of industries, across the tri-state area. From there, she moved into a disputes and investigations consulting role at Huron Consulting Group. At Huron, she worked closely with the management and counsel of her clients to help them plan, prevent and detect financial issues their businesses faced.
After almost a decade in client service, Theresa transitioned to serving as the head of finance for a distribution firm and then, subsequently, for a publicly-held brand innovation firm. Through managing the finances both on a day-to-day level and also being responsible for executing a firm’s vision on the financial side, she has first-hand experience with the challenges that business owners encounter today.
Theresa left her role as head of finance to focus her passion for helping a wide-range of business owners, individuals, and families find certainty and strength when it comes to their ever-changing financial lives. She was given the opportunity to partner with Michele Lee Fine, founder of Cornerstone Wealth Advisory LLC, a boutique financial services firm under the umbrella of Strategies for Wealth. Strategies is one of the largest, privately-held independent financial services firms in the country that was established in 1933. Together, Michele and Theresa look to have a profoundly positive impact on the lives of many through the Cornerstone brand, a brand that was built on a high standard of excellence and integrity.
At Cornerstone, Theresa continually strives to forever be a resource to her clients, helping them realize their financial goals and objectives. She looks to go beyond the transactional role of the typical advisor, and, instead, foster meaningful, compassionate relationships that strengthen the financial lives of those she is fortunate to call her client.
