Megan Mora
Megan Mora is a native New Yorker, born and raised on Long Island. Since earning her bachelor's degree from Wagner College, she has built a diverse career that spans the arts, hospitality, political organizing and technology, and finance.
Megan's professional life began in musical theatre in 2012, and she spent over a decade performing across Europe and New York City. Her connection to the service industry runs even deeper: at 14, she was bussing tables at a fine-dining restaurant on Long Island where her father worked as a chef. In the years since, she's worked for celebrity chef Bobby Flay, engaged in political technology and organizing, and held administrative roles in the financial sector.
Megan first came to Strategies for Wealth as a client in 2022. The experience of seeing her own finances transformed by the firm's guidance inspired her to join the team professionally. She believes deeply in every person's ability to build financial confidence and generational wealth through honesty and the right support system: "Everyone has the capability to generate generational wealth—you just have to be honest and have the right team to support you."
Megan served on Manhattan's Community Board 9 from 2020 to 2023, sitting on the Parks and Public Spaces and Transportation and Environment Committees, and currently serves on the Penn Station Arts Committee, helping curate public art installations.
Outside of work, Megan is married to Ella Mora, whom she wed in October 2024. A former professional singer, dancer, and actor, she still sings whenever she gets the chance. She keeps a disciplined routine hitting Solidcore five days a week, reads at least 50 books a year, and loves unwinding while watching Bravo.
