Megan Mora
Megan Mora is a native New Yorker—born and raised in Long Island.
Since she earned a bachelor’s from Wagner College, she has had a career spanning the arts, hospitality, political organizing, and finance.
Megan began her professional journey in musical theatre in 2012 and spent over a decade performing across Europe and New York City. A lifelong lover of the service industry, Megan’s earliest experiences began at 14, bussing tables at a fine-dining restaurant on Long Island, where her father worked as a chef. Her diverse professional background includes working for celebrity chef Bobby Flay, engaging in political technology and organizing, and serving in administrative roles within the financial sector.
She was first introduced to Strategies for Wealth as a client in 2022. After experiencing firsthand the transformative impact of the firm’s guidance on her financial journey, Megan was inspired to professionally join the team. She passionately believes in the potential for every individual to achieve financial confidence and generational wealth with honesty and the right support system. She brings a deeply personal mission to her work: "Everyone has the capability to generate generational wealth—you just have to be honest with yourself and have the right team to support you."
Megan has served her community as a member of Manhattan’s Community Board 9 from 2020 to 2023, contributing to the Parks and Public Spaces and Transportation and Environment Committees. She also serves on the Penn Station Arts Committee, helping curate public art installations.
Megan is married to Ella Mora, with whom she tied the knot in October of 2024. Megan remains active in the arts, singing whenever possible. A former professional singer, dancer, and actor, she maintains a disciplined lifestyle—frequenting Solidcore workouts five days a week—and indulges her love for literature by reading at least 50 books a year. She also enjoys winding down with Bravo TV.
