Joe spent over 20 years at large financial services organizations where he was responsible for complex multi-billion dollar transactions in both legal and non-legal capacities. He then joined a “sister” firm of Strategies for Wealth in the Washington, DC area that had been his financial advisor for many years and had helped maximize his family’s overall financial situation. Subsequently, Joe and his family fulfilled a lifelong dream of moving to the New York City area and Joe continued his work by joining Strategies for Wealth.

Joe entered this business because he saw that many people, although often high-income earners, faced significant financial challenges. Specifically, they had little idea whether or how they could ever stop working and maintain an acceptable lifestyle and what would happen to them and their families in the meantime if something went awry financially for them. Many of these folks were further frustrated by the lack of resources to assist them beyond the sound bites in the media or hype from financial “entertainers” or those who merely were seeking to get assets under management without helping assess and address the client’s much broader financial framework. In alignment with Strategies for Wealth’s philosophy, Joe employs facts and strategies to take a comprehensive and integrated approach to his clients’ financial lives and assist them to gain economic confidence – confidence that they and their families are going to be OK before, during and after retirement - and that, in essence, they will have a good life for the rest of their lives. Having been in the financial advisory business for well over a decade now, it is clear to Joe that this approach is both unique and powerful. Complementing this is Joe’s laser-like focus on client education and service and his use of The Living Balance Sheet® tool with his clients, which provides the organizational and analytical power for the work he does.

Joe was very successful in the first phase of his career as a senior corporate leader but has found that the impact he’s been able to have on behalf of his financial advisory clients goes far beyond what he accomplished in his “prior life.” That’s further evidenced by the publication of his first book, Your Money – Uncommon Insights (Infinity Publishing 2011) and by having been listed ten years in a row to The Westchester Magazine list of “Five Star Wealth Managers.”**
