Davin has been coaching his entire life. Growing up in sports, he sought to excel and help others in all he did. His first job after graduating college was teaching martial arts. He led children and adults to develop focus, confidence, and self-discipline while helping them to achieve goals beyond their own expectations. He helped the business double within 2 years. Although he felt personally successful in his teaching and program development role, he realized that he wanted to put his education to more use; Davin desired to help people develop these same life-values in their finances.
Davin believes the most successful people tend to do things in an uncommon way. In 2008, when the economy was in disarray, Davin chose to step foot into the financial services arena. Now, with over a decade of experience under his belt in macro-economic coordination, Davin is proud to have built a successful financial practice to service a wide spectrum of clientele helping each take progressive steps towards financial improvement. He continuously proves to bring the highest value to his clients as he combines time-tested philosophy with cutting edge strategy to help simplify seemingly complex matters.
Davin is always looking to further his education. He believes that to be the best, you must always be a student. His studies are perpetual through certified continuing education courses via the regulated financial services industry, financial seminars, and classes instructed from industry-leaders. He also believes that communication is the foundation for all relationships and a critical component to what makes a team strong. Davin proactively works on his communication and leadership skills by attending various workshops and being an active member of Toastmasters International, where he has won a number of awards.
Outside of the office, Davin can often be found in a martial arts studio training or helping children and adults hone their skills. He is active in Men’s Fellowship at his church and enjoys being active outside (hiking, biking, etc.) whenever possible.
